Palo Verde Day Trip

"We decided on this trip after meeting Carlos. What a great seller and promoter of local activities. Marco and Mike picked us up just in time. We start with a quick stop to watch the oxen drag samd from the river as they have done for 100 years. Then another stop to see the huge Iguana. In Palo Verde for a boat ride on the river. Incredible. Multiple types of heron, eggs, and crocodile. The guides were very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. The next stop is a traditional ranch. How cool. They taught us the ancient way of obtaining the juice from sugar cane. Then a great traditional meal. We were also invited to a demonstration of traditional indigenous clay making. What a great day. Marco and Mike were great. Carlos was such a good contact and always checked to see how they were doing.
